The NGGJ encyclopedia relies upon the contributions of scholars and lay people who wish to bring in their experience and knowledge of Ashkenazic Judaism from the beginnings to 1300. It is designed to be updated constantly, so that it would always reflect the current state of research. Contributing is simple:
